Fourth Ave Endodontics is a new specialty endodontic practice located next to the Niagara Health - St. Catharines Hospital. Fourth Ave Endodontics strives to deliver the highest quality comprehensive endodontic care utilizing an evidence based approach with the latest technology in a relaxed, modern facility.
Our goal is to become an integral part of the dental community serving Niagara. As a referring office, you can depend on us to diagnose and treat all of your patients’ endodontic, traumatic injury, and microsurgical needs. Dr. Scott Loomis is a lifelong resident of the Niagara peninsula. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, he attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine for his dental school education where he graduated with distinction. After graduation, he owned and operated a general dentistry practice for 17 years. During his time as a general dentist, he not only developed a wealth of skill and knowledge in restorative dentistry, but realized his true passion was endodontics. He returned to school to attend the Postgraduate Endodontic program at the Medical University of South Carolina. During his endodontics residency he served as Chief Resident and completed a clinical research project on the application of a CBCT dynamic guidance system to endodontics, ultimately earning him a Masters of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Endodontics.
Dr. Loomis is committed to lifelong learning in order to stay on the cutting edge of the latest endodontic research and technology. He is proud to serve his hometown community and strives to deliver the highest quality endodontic and microsurgical care to his patients. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Academy of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontists, Niagara Peninsula Dental Association, and the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons.
